My friend Bryan has a very cool photo of the interior of Ely Cathedral as his wallpaper. He has asked those of us who read his blog to share with the world, "What's on your desktop?" Mine is above, a photo that I took of Stonehenge when I was there a couple of years ago. I like this particular shot because it's still daylight (taken about 3:30pm on January 2, 2007), but you can see the moon just above the stones. It's been my wallpaper pretty much since I came home from that trip, mostly because I've been unmotivated to change it. Maybe it's time for a change of scenery...
I'll vicariously play Bryan's game thru you. My wallpaper is a picture of Wentworth Miller, shirtless in dark jeans with his belt hanging open, resting on his hands and knees on a sheetless mattress with an intense gaze on his face toward the pillow...where of course, he is imagining that I am...of course.
I had a virus over the weekend, so I lost my image of Tower Bridge at night. I now have this as my desktop, which gives the screen a surprisingly 3D effect.
Love the stonehenge pic, but where's all the tourists?
Rik, that's a lovely photo. That's near your home, isn't it?
When I was taking photos at Stonehenge, there were a few tourists--our bus group and a couple of carloads. It was the middle of the Christmas holidays, so probably too cold for a lot of people. For this shot and some of the others, I waited for them to be in areas of the frame where I could crop them out.
