I've been very productive at school, between my painting class and my graphic design classes. I'm going to try to post a couple of my finished products here for your viewing pleasure, a couple today, and hopefully more over the next few days. We'll see... Anyway, here's the first test of the Blogger image system...

OK, so hopefully those are loaded properly. It's my first time using Blogger's button to upload images, rather than using my own server space. I guess we'll see when I publish. Anyway, these are two posters I did in my software class in Photoshop. We were to choose two movements in the history of poster design, and create a poster in each of the two styles. The first one is an example of Art Deco. Since most Guinness posters are done in Art Deco style anyway, I figured it would come out pretty cool. The toucan is from a photo that I had to cut the background out of, the "posterize" to make it look like an illustration rather than a photo. (I know that this is probably too much info, but I'm really digging the Photoshop and all its little bells and whistles.) The other one is an example of Swiss poster design. The photo is off the web, with various effects added. The date is of the last U2 concert that came to Lexington, which I went to with Brian, Alan, and Liz. That's all for now--later I may post photos of the paintings I've done so far. So, on to the house cleaning! Yeehah! :^|

Update: Please let me know if you don't see both images. I'm noticing that on my own computer, both load in Safari, but only one loads in Firefox. Hmmm.... Update-update: So the Blogger button thing didn't work out. The images are now just loaded onto my server space. At least now you can see them, though...
