Here I am, back again at the computer when I should be doing housework, or homework. I actually was doing some homework for my design class, getting some images ready for our next project. Since I was working with this, I thought my remaining 3 readers might like to see the painting I most recently finished for my painting class. It's the first time I've worked in oil paint, and I've decided I like oil paint. This is called the "jar project", or rather, the assignment was called that. We had to fill a Mason jar with things that were lying around our apartment, then mark off a section of the jar and paint what was inside it. This is my result. The actual painting is about 4 feet square. I'm wondering where I'm gonna put all these things when I'm done with class. I have to keep all of them, at least the better ones, at least until BFA review (when I show my work to officially "apply" to the BFA program), and that won't be until at least sometime in the spring. After that, I may put some of this stuff up for sale... Update: OK, now this image isn't showing up in Firefox either, at least not on my computer. This is getting frustrating. Anyone got any ideas? Update-update: It appears that I've stumbled on the answer. Apparently, the file I was trying to load was just too big. I'll fix the other post later--I'm gonna go eat something. Later!
