Well, here's something reassuring: I just took one of those internet tests at tickle.com. The name of the test was "Which Degree is Right for You?" Here's my results:
A degree in Arts is right for you
Do you think your creative energy is better spent on hobbies than on a career? Think again. Your open-minded approach to life and willingness to experiment can be assets in any number of fields. Since you tend to trust emotion over reason, it's a given that you will eagerly throw your heart and soul into your endeavors.
Oh, yeah, and I got DSL! I'm excited about that. I haven't much chance to take 'er for a spin just yet, but what I've seen so far is encouraging. It was kind of a mess getting it set up, since the guy at qx.net wasn't well versed in Mac OS9, and I'm functionally computer illiterate, but we finally figured it out with the help of my staff tech support pastor.
Concerning my pinch pots for class, my teacher declared them to be the perfect example of leather hardness for scraping and finishing. The form could use some work, but it was nice hearing that word "perfect" in conjunction with my work, in whatever context. We will be doing more of them tomorrow, so I'll get more practice in.
Speaking of tomorrow, I see that it's pretty much here, so I should go to bed now and get some much needed beauty sleep. Later!
