My site counter has all sorts of cool little features, such as the one that tells me where the last 10 visitors came from, what kind of computer system they're using, and other such nosey details. I just came from looking at the counter stats, and found something interesting: of the last ten hits when I checked, 3 of them had come from someone using a computer with the ISP I don't really know how they found me, except that the referrer was, so I'm guessing they knew where they were going. In any case, since folks in the military in Qatar (or at least one folk) are reading my blog, I will take this opportunity to say that, even though we don't hear so much in the news about you guys as we did in the beginning days of the war, and most of what we do hear is spun in a negative way, I for one am deeply appreciative of the sacrifice of the people serving in the Gulf area (well, actually I'm appreciative of all of our military personnel, serving wherever). I don't know who this person was, but I'm honored that they thought enough of my site to give it a second, and even third, glance. May peace be achieved soon, so you can come home safely.
