So I got my grades for the semester this morning. I held off on posting them here, because I wanted to show them off at church first. Since we're the "blogger church", and everyone's always reading each other's stuff, there'd be no surprise if I posted the grades before church. (I know, it's pathetic that I have to be so devious, but hey, that's just me.) Anyway, I'm very proud to say that, out of 4 classes, I got 4 A's, thank you very much. :^) It kinda gave me a bit of a flashback to the first go-'round, oh-so-many years ago. I got all A's the first semester that time, too, but then my dorm-mates decided that I needed to be initiated into the joys of going to the local bars. The GPA declined somewhat after that, I must say. It's funny, my old GPA is rearing its not-so-ugly head (I graduated the first time with a 3.24 GPA) in that, since some of the old classes are being considered as my General Ed fulfillment, my old GPA is being figured in with the new. So, as it stands right now, my cumulative GPA is still at 3.24, rather than the 4.0.

That's OK, it's still nothing to sneeze at. Except that, right now I'm sneezing at just about everything. Merry Christmas to me, the first cold of the season seems to be showing up right on schedule. I think it has something to do with the "bargain" I made with God that, if He could just hold off on the ice and snow until after finals week, I wouldn't care if the worst 3 weeks of winter occurred during winter break (my logic being that, if the worst 3 weeks happen between semesters, then the first few weeks of next semester won't be so bad as far as the roads go--it'll all be over with). Apparently, He's taking me up on the bargain. We are forecasted to get a lovely and treacherous mix of ice and snow in a day or so. Should be great for the holiday travel to the parents' house. We shall see. The weathermen rarely get it exactly right, so maybe it won't be as bad as they're making it out to be.
