People sometimes ask me, "Why are you going to EKU to get your Graphic Design degree, when UK is practically in your backyard?" (Or words to that effect.) This article illustrates one good reason why. Travis Townsend, one of the professors mentioned in the article, will be teaching my Concepts of Art and Design class next semester.
In other news, this week is so-called "Dead Week", in which no new tests or information is to be given. It's supposed to be just a week for preparing for final exams next week. Apparently, there are loopholes in this theory. I have two projects due tomorrow, one needing an accompanying essay. I have not started one of the projects, nor the essay. I called in at work this morning and begged my boss to let me stay home and finish these projects, and will make up the time this weekend. I'm blessed to have such an understanding boss.
Well, speaking of school, I'd better get off my butt and get myself ready to travel! Later!
