Just a couple of random thoughts...

I just checked my counter stats, as I seem to be in the habit of doing every day now. Can you say OCD? I knew you could... Anyway, there's another winner in there tonight in the search engine category--an MSN search for "how to fool drug sniffing dogs". Don't ask me how I got in that one, but I seem to be in some illustrious company, let me tell you! I didn't realize there were so many sites dedicated to marijuana, cocaine, and how to get past the authorities with them. I suppose I should have known, though, considering some of the other stuff that's out there in cyberspace.

I am moving along in the process of becoming a college student again. I was going to hold off on this one until I knew for sure about whether I'd be able to get student loans and so forth, but I can't hold it in any longer. I got a letter this week from EKU, telling me they've accepted me back as a "readmitted student". I just finished filling out my FAFSA (free application for federal student aid) form online and sending it off, then went to EKU's site to submit an "advising form", so I can get a student advisor. Now I have to wait 2-5 business days to hear back from these folks. So I guess now the only thing keeping me from the back-to-school thing is getting the money. I'm still considering putting a Paypal button on the blog to accomodate any anonymous person out there who might want to help (:^D), but Alan said that, if I do that (not that he's necessarily saying I shouldn't), I should be prepared for negative feedback. I'm not sure how seriously I really am considering that, but the last time I threw it out there, I got one encouraging response, so that made me think it might not be a truly horrible idea after all. I don't know, I probably won't do it--it was just part of a brainstorming session I had with myself. Mostly what I'm believing for is enough student loans to make it feasible to go back full-time. So you prayer warriors out there, that's what you can pray for in this process. Anyhow, I can see that I'm starting to ramble, so I think I'll hang it up for now and go to bed. Later!
