Hey! I notice that I'm getting close to the 10,000 visitors mark. If one of you happens to notice that you are visitor #10,000, leave me a comment and let me know. I'd just like to know who it is.
I made a major step forward in my quest to go back to school this fall. I actually got up off my butt and called the admissions office to find out how to go about registering. I found out that I probably won't have to take my gen ed classes over again, even though my first degree was earned in 1983. That's a very cool thing! I'm planning to go down to campus on the 11th and do all the paperwork and talk to people; that is, if I don't deal with it online first. The big thing now for me is the money. I'm hoping for (counting on) student loans to foot the bill, but still am unsure what all that entails. Pray for me for favor with the "moneylenders" and that everything goes smoothly. I actually have been toying with the idea of putting a Paypal button on the blog so that if anyone wants to donate to the cause... :^)
