Well, this sucks! I was going to work on my template some today, but it seems that the template is...well, gone, for lack of a better word. I have tried to get to it, but when I go to the template screen, all I see is a blank square and a note saying "object required". Being functionally computer illiterate, I have no idea what this means, and just hope it is all part of Blogger's changeover to some new system they've cooked up. I hope everything gets squared away once they're done "cleaning house", just as I hope to be able to find some things more easily once I clean up my own house. I have way too much "planned" for my glorious 3-day weekend. Yesterday was actually a fairly productive day. I got my laundry done, and wrote out bills while the dryers ran. I bought a shelf unit for over the computer to try and get some of the clutter off the desk, and will put it up either later today or tomorrow. And, best of all, I went with Matt and Brian to see Matrix Reloaded. Note to Alan (and anyone else who hates to hear anything about a movie before they see it): I'm getting ready to talk about the movie, but I won't tell any major plot elements. If you don't want to read anything about it, stop reading here. The movie was pretty good. I think I kinda liked the first one better, in that way that a first date is always a little more magical than the subsequent ones. There were only a few new characters introduced into the mix in Reloaded, and because of all the action scenes, they really didn't have time to develop those new characters. Also, there is apparently some time lapse between the end of the first movie and the beginning of the second that wasn't really explained to my satisfaction. Since they ended Reloaded with an unsatisfactory "To Be Concluded", they could have at least put a brief synopsis, in "Star Wars" style, at the beginning. A couple of cryptic remarks for those who are planning to see the movie soon: See if you can spot the characters that I nicknamed "Sigfried and Roy", and--I will never view chocolate cake in quite the same way again. posted by #Debi at 1:52 PM | permalink |
