If you're wondering why I last posted in the middle of the day on a Thursday, I only went to work for a couple of hours today, then went home sick. I'm not deathly ill or anything, it's just prudent that I be somewhere where I can get to the bathroom in a hurry whenever I need to, if you know what I mean. Just a little stomach bug. You know it's gonna be a good day when you get dry heaves brushing your teeth. Eeeyuuuhhh!!!
So, I've been sitting around doin' pretty much nothing all day--doing a little blog reading, doing a lot of sleeping, that sort of thing. I found a quiz that I thought was cute:
I just got a call from my Mom, saying she and Dad want to take me out to dinner tomorrow night for my birthday. Free meal?(hmmmm, let me think about it....)OK! My birthday isn't until Monday, but she's heard there might be snow flurries this weekend, so of course it's The Blizzard Of 2002 coming in. I have to make sure I get in to work early tomorrow so I can leave early. They want to meet at 6:00 and meet halfway, which is about a half hour drive to Winchester, where I grew up. We're going to the Golden Corral, which is kind of a buffet steak house. Mmmmmm, steak!
