You may notice that my "blogs" section of this site has grown considerably. I decided that, rather than go to Alan's site and scroll down through his blog list (which is what I have been doing), I would go through his one last time, pick out the ones I read most often, and link them on my own site. That way, instead of artificially inflating his site visit numbers, I will artificially inflate mine. The list is prodigious, as you can see, and let me assure you that I don't read all of those every day. I do have a job, don't you know.
I just got back from the movies with Brian; we saw "The Road to Perdition," with Tom Hanks and Paul Newman. It was very good, 2 1/2 hours long, which was OK with me because it's still hotter than blazes in here! I recommend the movie highly, even though it has kind of a predictable ending. I won't say any more, because Alan might read this and he has this thing about knowing anything about a movie before he sees it. Go see it, Alan--'nough said.
I think I'm going to go find something very cold to drink, and veg out in front of the TV tonight--conservation of energy and all that.
