God, I'm up early for a Sunday morning! But I'm travelling to Aurora, IN, today to sing at the Sunday service of the Firecracker Festival. It should be a lot of fun; it usually is. I've done this for the past three or four years at the request of a friend of mine who's also a pastor there, Tom Parker. He pastors the UCC church in Aurora, and a nicer bunch of folks you couldn't hope to meet. My friend Brian is supposed to go with me, and that will be a good thing. I hate the thought of driving all that way (OK, it's only 2 hours, but still) by myself, and Brian's very entertaining. He's also single and looking, so you girls should give him a look on the VBCC website. (That was for free, Brian). Well, time to put the coffee on and get this party started.
